Midnight Upgrade at 30,000 Feet

A brand-new air hostess named Sofia had just joined an international airline.

She was young, stunning, elegant, and extremely proud of finally getting assigned to a long overseas flight from Paris to New York.

The senior crew warned her about one thing before takeoff:

“Be professional around Captain Reynolds. Half the female staff develop a crush on him before landing.”

Sofia smirked confidently.
“Please… I’m here to work, not flirt.”

But the moment she saw the captain walk into the cockpit — tall, silver-haired, calm voice, movie-star smile — she nearly dropped the coffee tray.

For the next six hours she kept “accidentally” finding reasons to visit the cockpit.

“Captain, would you like more coffee?”
“Captain, is the cabin temperature okay?”
“Captain, do pilots prefer sparkling or still water?”

The co-pilot was trying not to laugh.

Finally, during the quiet overnight stretch, Sofia leaned closer to the captain and whispered with a playful smile:

“Captain… if there’s anything at all I can do to make this flight more enjoyable for you… just say the word.”

The captain looked at her calmly for a moment.

Then he handed her a headset and said:

“Fantastic. Go explain to seat 42B why we’re delayed, calm down the drunk guy in business class, and stop two honeymoon couples from joining the mile-high club.”

Sofia blinked.

“Wait… that’s it?”

The captain grinned and replied:

“Welcome to international aviation, sweetheart.
The sexiest thing on this plane… is competent cabin crew.”
