At a quiet monastery, a group of nuns gathered to discuss their “future security plans.” With times changing, they decided they needed to be a little more… practical.
One nun whispered, “We’ve devoted our lives to faith… but what about comfort in old age?”
Meanwhile, across the courtyard, a group of priests were having a very similar meeting.
One priest sighed, “We’ve guided souls our whole lives… but who’s going to guide us when we retire?”
That evening, both groups accidentally booked the same “financial planning seminar.”
They sat across from each other in awkward silence.
Finally, one bold nun stood up and said,
“Well… it seems we all have the same concern.”
A priest nodded and replied with a grin,
“Yes… long-term investment.”
The nun smirked:
“Good. Because we’re not just looking for blessings anymore…”
The priest leaned forward:
“Neither are we.”
After a pause, the nun added,
“Just to be clear… we’re talking about mutual support, right?”
The priest smiled:
“Of course… spiritual, emotional… and very strategic.”
From that day on, the monastery reported a sudden rise in “joint prayer sessions.”
And strangely enough…
attendance was always full.😂
