Additionally, Manhattan prosecutors gained access to Trump’s video testimony in the E. Jean Carroll defamation case, where he was found liable for sexual abuse, resulting in a $5 million judgment.
This testimony may feature in Trump’s March 2024 trial on charges of falsifying records related to a hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels. Trump deems the investigations politically motivated, insisting on his innocence.
