American actress Hayden Panettiere, best known for her leading roles in the television series Heroes and Nashville, has died at the age of 36.

Panettiere died on Sunday, August 16, in Greenville, South Carolina. Her family confirmed the news through her representative, who described her as an extraordinary person who brought love and happiness to those who knew her and to millions of television viewers.

Authorities said Panettiere was found unresponsive at an apartment and was pronounced dead despite attempts to save her. Successful Career From an Early Age

Born on August 21, 1989, in New York, Panettiere began working as a child performer. She appeared in television commercials before securing roles in soap operas, including One Life to Live and Guiding Light.

Her early film appearances included Remember the Titans, in which she played Sheryl Yoast, and Raising Helen. She also provided the voice of Dot in Pixar’s animated film A Bug’s Life.

Panettiere rose to international fame as Claire Bennet, a high-school cheerleader with regenerative powers, in NBC’s science-fiction drama Heroes. The character became closely associated with the show’s famous phrase, “Save the cheerleader, save the world.”

Acclaimed Performance in ‘Nashville’

She later received widespread praise for portraying ambitious country singer Juliette Barnes in the musical drama Nashville. Her performance earned her two Golden Globe nominations and allowed her to demonstrate both her acting and singing abilities.
