Officer Miller was so used to patrol life that he couldn’t turn it off during his first date.
When the girl finally arrived, he didn’t say “hello.” He tapped on her car window, shined a flashlight in her eyes, and barked, “License and registration! Do you have any idea how fast you were falling for me back there?”
She laughed and said, “You’re cute. Want to go inside and grab dinner?”
Miller narrowed his eyes and replied, “Step out of the vehicle, ma’am. I’m going to need you to perform a field sobriety test—because your beauty is making my head spin, and I suspect I’m the one who’s impaired!”
She eventually walked out on him. Miller just sighed, keyed his shoulder radio, and muttered: “Dispatch, cancel the backup. The suspect has cleared the scene, and I’m returning to base for a lonely night of ‘Law & Order’ and a cold donut.”😂
