The Backseat Affair That Backfired Spectacularly

A middle-aged cab driver in New York City had one very bad habit — he was constantly checking the back seat through his mirror whenever couples got in.

Not for safety.

For “entertainment.”

One rainy evening, a glamorous woman in a tight red dress hopped into his cab with a sharply dressed businessman. The moment they sat down, the driver adjusted the mirror so perfectly you’d think he was filming a movie.

A few minutes later, the businessman whispered something into the woman’s ear.

She giggled.

The cab driver nearly drove onto the sidewalk trying to get a better angle.

Then the woman slowly slid closer to the man… placed a hand on his chest… and purred:

“Darling… are you sure your wife won’t find out?”

The cab driver’s eyes widened.

Now he was fully invested.

The businessman smirked confidently and replied:

“Relax. My wife never notices anything.”

The cab driver chuckled to himself and muttered under his breath,

“Amateur…”

Suddenly the woman leaned forward and said loudly:

“Actually, driver… pull over right here.”

The cab stopped.

The businessman looked confused.
“But honey, this isn’t our hotel.”

The woman smiled sweetly and said:

“It’s not your hotel.”

Then she pointed at the driver and added:

“My husband’s been following us in the mirror for the last twenty minutes.”
