A wife was so furious at her husband that she packed his bags, threw them at his feet, and pointed to the door.
“Get out!” she snapped.
He grabbed his things, silent, humiliated, and headed for the exit.
But just as he opened the door, she shouted behind him, voice shaking with rage:
“I hope you die—a long, slow, painful death!”
He froze. Then slowly turned around, raised an eyebrow, and said:
“Oh… so you do want me to stay?”
