In a crowd, a man took out a lemon and squeezed it dry. He held up the lifeless lemon and announced, “If anyone can squeeze even a single drop out of this lemon, I’ll give them $100.”
Many people stepped forward and tried their hardest. They twisted the lemon, crushed it, and squeezed it with all their strength, but not a single drop came out.
The crowd began to laugh, convinced the challenge was impossible. The man proudly held up the dry lemon, ready to keep his money.
Finally, a quiet-looking man walked forward and said, “Let me try.”
Everyone watched as he calmly took the lemon in his hand and squeezed. To everyone’s amazement, two drops of lemon juice fell into his palm.
The man blinked in surprise and stared at him. “Who are you?” he asked.
…
.. . The second man smiled and replied, “Income tax officer.”
A Texan walked into a pharmacy and wandered up and down the aisles, looking confused.
The salesgirl noticed him and asked if she could help him find something.
He answered, “I’m looking for a box of tampons for my wife.”
She politely directed him to the correct aisle. A few minutes later, he returned and placed a huge bag of cotton balls and a ball of string on the counter.
The salesgirl looked puzzled. “Sir, I thought you were looking for tampons for your wife?”
The Texan nodded seriously and said, “You see, it’s like this. Yesterday, I sent my wife to the store to get me a carton of cigarettes. Instead, she came home with a tin of tobacco and some rolling paper.”
He picked up the bag and added, “So I figured, if I have to roll my own, then she can roll her own too!”
A woman received a phone call saying that her daughter was sick.
Worried and in a hurry, she stopped at a pharmacy to pick up medicine. After paying, she rushed back to her car, only to realize she had accidentally locked her keys inside.
She searched her purse, checked the doors again, and felt panic rising. Then she noticed an old, rusty coat hanger lying on the ground nearby.
She picked it up, stared at it, and sighed, “I don’t know the first thing about using this.”
With her daughter waiting at home, she closed her eyes, bowed her head, and prayed, “God, please send me someone who can help.”
Within a minute, an old, beat-up motorcycle pulled into the parking lot.
A bearded man wearing a worn-out biker skull rag climbed off and walked toward her.
“Need some help?” he asked.
The woman quickly explained, “Yes. My daughter is sick, and I accidentally locked my keys in my car. I need to get home. Please, can you use this hanger to unlock the door?”
The man nodded. “Sure.”
He walked over to the car, carefully worked the hanger into the door, and within less than a minute, the lock clicked open.
The woman gasped with relief. Tears filled her eyes as she hugged him tightly.
“Thank you so much!” she cried. “You are such a kind and wonderful person.”
The man stepped back and shook his head.
“Lady, I’m NOT a nice man,” he said.
The woman looked confused.
He continued, “I just got out of prison yesterday. I was serving time for car theft.”
For a moment, the woman froze.
Then she hugged him again, crying even harder.
“Oh, thank you, God!” she said. “You didn’t just send me someone who could help me…”
She looked at the man with gratitude and added, “You sent me a professional!”
