In one small town, there was a family famous for one unusual tradition—every daughter somehow remained unmarried for years. The grandmother was 82 and still saying, “I’m just waiting for the right gentleman.” Her 58-year-old daughter insisted, “True love takes time.” The 35-year-old granddaughter kept rejecting proposals because “his horoscope blinked suspiciously.”
One afternoon, a curious neighbor finally asked,
“Why is every woman in your family still waiting to get married?”
The grandmother smiled proudly and replied,
“We don’t believe in rushing into marriage.”
Just then the postman arrived carrying yet another wedding invitation from another family.
The granddaughter sighed and said,
“Another invitation? We should just frame these instead of attending them!”
The grandmother nodded and added with perfect confidence:
“At this point, we’re not waiting for a groom anymore… we’re waiting for archaeology to discover one!” 😂
