Kate Middleton Pens Touching Letter Amid Ongoing Cancer Treatment

Kate Middleton, who has stepped back from her royal responsibilities due to a cancer diagnosis and ongoing chemotherapy, has penned a touching letter.

The Princess of Wales recently reached out to Kirsty Kerr, whose six-year-old daughter Isla has been diagnosed with celiac disease. Kirsty was overwhelmed with emotion and cried upon receiving the letter from the future Queen just two weeks ago.

Kirsty had written to Princess Kate to share the challenges Isla faces living with celiac disease, including feeling different from her peers due to her strict diet and lower energy levels.

In her response, Princess Kate expressed her support for Kirsty’s family, saying, “Thank you very much for your letter to The Princess of Wales regarding the Early Years. I was deeply sorry to hear about the difficulties your daughter has faced, but it was encouraging to learn about Isla’s progress.”

The letter praised Kirsty for her “diligence” in caring for Isla, calling her efforts “truly admirable.”

The letter, which was obtained by Hello! Magazine, concluded with, “It was very thoughtful of you to write as you did. The Princess of Wales asked me to convey her very best wishes to you and your family.” It was signed by the Head of Royal Correspondence.

This letter comes at a time when the future Queen is also facing her own health challenges. She has reduced her royal engagements to focus on her well-being following her March diagnosis of an undisclosed type of cancer and is undergoing preventative chemotherapy.
