Prince William is reportedly quietly preparing to become the next King of Britain, as concerns grow about King Charles’ health. According to an insider speaking to In Touch Weekly, William is increasingly worried about his father and is working to relieve some of the pressure on him. The source mentioned that King Charles’ deteriorating condition has raised significant alarm within the royal family, leading to calls for him to delegate more responsibilities to William.
“William is just as concerned about his father and wants to ease his burden as much as possible,” the insider shared.
As the heir to the throne, Prince William has gradually been taking on more duties in preparation for eventually succeeding his father. His recent actions reflect his growing readiness to step into the role of King.
The insider further added, “It’s evident that William and Kate are quietly preparing themselves to become King and Queen, and it’s only a matter of time before Charles formally hands over the reins.”
The source also noted that King Charles has already begun delegating more tasks to William, which is why the Prince’s schedule has noticeably become busier. This news comes shortly after William was given a prominent new role by the King, fueling speculation about Charles’ possible abdication. William recently represented his father at the Sovereign’s Parade at the Royal Air Force College in Cranwell on Thursday, September 12.
