‘Baby Driver’ actor Hudson Joseph Meek passes away tragically at 16. Hudson Joseph Meek was laid to rest a week after his untimely passing.
A Celebration of Life service for the young “Baby Driver” actor took place on Saturday at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood, Alabama.
The service was livestreamed on Meek’s Instagram page, allowing fans to join virtually in honoring his memory.
During the 93-minute ceremony, family and friends gathered to bid farewell to the beloved teen. Several speakers shared heartfelt memories of Meek, and a choir performed moving hymns to celebrate his life.
Fans expressed their condolences and paid tribute in the comments of the livestream.
“Praying for Hudson’s family at this difficult time,” one fan wrote.
Another added, “The choir did a beautiful job honoring Hudson.”
A third shared, “Beautiful service. Our church has been blessed by this family, and we will continue to support and pray for them here at Dawson.”
Teen actor Grace Culwell, known for her role in “Law & Order: SVU,” revealed in the comments that she attended the service.
“Such a beautiful service & so glad we were able to be there. Sending so much love & prayers to all,” she wrote.
Meek rose to fame with his role in the 2017 film Baby Driver, where he starred alongside Ansel Elgort, Kevin Spacey, Lily James, Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, and Eiza González.
