An elderly husband had just bought a brand-new smart TV.
Proud of himself, he spent the entire afternoon setting it up.
That evening, he called his wife into the living room.
“Look at this!” he said. “This TV responds to voice commands.”
His wife rolled her eyes. “Oh really?”
The husband stood proudly and shouted,
“Netflix!”
Nothing happened.
He tried again.
“NETFLIX!”
Still nothing.
His wife smirked. “Maybe it doesn’t understand old people.”
Determined, the husband yelled even louder,
“NETFLIX!!!”
From the kitchen, their teenage grandson shouted:
“Grandpa, if you want Netflix, you have to use the remote!”
The husband grumbled and sat down.
His wife couldn’t stop laughing.
A few minutes later, she looked at him and said,
“You know, after 50 years of marriage, you’ve become a lot like that TV.”
The husband frowned.
“What do you mean?”
She smiled and replied:
“You claim you’re smart, but nothing happens until somebody finds the right remote!” 😂🤣
