The Bear, the Bible… and the Biggest Mistake of His Life

A priest, a minister, and a rabbi were arguing over who was the best at converting people to religion.

Finally, they decided there was only one way to settle it:

Each man would go deep into the woods, find a wild bear, and try to convert it.

A week later, they met up to share their results.

The priest arrived first, smiling proudly.

“When I found the bear,” he said, “I calmly read passages from the Catechism and sprinkled him with holy water. He became peaceful immediately. Next Sunday, he’s taking his First Communion.”

The minister nodded confidently.

“Well, I found my bear by the river. I preached the Word of God so passionately that the bear sat down and listened for two straight hours. Then I baptized him right there in the stream.”

Both men turned to the rabbi…

…who was lying in a full body cast on a hospital gurney.

His arms were wrapped.
His legs were elevated.
His face looked like he’d lost a boxing match with a freight train.

The priest asked nervously,
“Rabbi… what happened?”

The rabbi groaned, adjusted his neck brace, and whispered:

“Looking back… maybe I shouldn’t have started with the circumcision.”😂🤣
