The Experimental Pill That Turned Date Night Upside Down

A frustrated wife marched into her doctor’s office and whispered, “Doctor, my husband has completely lost interest in romance. I need a miracle!”

The doctor handed her a tiny experimental pill and said with a grin, “This is very powerful stuff. Just slip it into his mashed potatoes at dinner tonight… and let’s hope for the best.”

That evening, she quietly mixed the pill into his food and waited nervously.

According to her, it didn’t even take five minutes. Suddenly, her husband’s eyes lit up like fireworks on the Fourth of July. He leaped from his chair, swept plates, glasses, and dinner clear off the table, grabbed her dramatically, tore at her clothes, and showered her with more passion than she’d seen in twenty years of marriage.

A week later, she returned to the doctor looking both shocked and thrilled.

“Doc,” she gasped, “that pill worked WAY too well!”

The doctor looked horrified. “Oh no… we had no idea the reaction would be that intense. Don’t worry, the medical foundation will gladly cover all the damages.”

She smiled and waved her hand dismissively.

“Nah, that’s alright…” she said. “We weren’t planning on going back to that restaurant anyway.”
