A lady walks into the bar on a cruise ship and orders a Scotch with just two drops of water.

The bartender serves it, and she smiles, “I’m celebrating my 80th birthday today.”

“Well then,” the bartender grins, “this one’s on me!”

She finishes it, and the woman next to her says, “Let me get you another!”

“Thank you—same thing,” the lady nods.

Moments later, a gentleman on her other side chimes in, “I’ll buy the next one!”

Again she says, “Scotch… two drops of water.”

Now the bartender leans in, curious. “Ma’am, I have to ask… why only two drops of water?”

The old woman smirks, lifts her glass, and says—

“Sonny… at my age, I can still hold my liquor just fine…”

She pauses, takes a slow sip, then adds with a wink:

“…it’s the water that refuses to stay for the full cruise.” 😏
