At the local garage, a motor mechanic named Jake was known for fixing anything with an engine… and for having a girlfriend who loved to tease him about it.
One evening, she walked into the workshop wearing a tight dress, leaned against the car hood, and said with a smirk,
“So, Mr. Mechanic… you spend all day tuning engines. Tell me, do you ever give that kind of attention at home?”
Jake wiped his hands on a rag, gave her a slow look, and replied,
“Of course I do… but you’ve gotta understand—quality work takes time, patience… and the right tools.”
She raised an eyebrow and stepped closer.
“Oh really? Because last time felt more like a quick oil change than a full service.”
Jake chuckled, leaned in, and whispered,
“Hey, that was just a diagnostic check… tonight, I’m going full tune-up.”
She grinned and tapped the hood of the car.
“Good. Just make sure you don’t stall halfway through.”
Jake smirked, tossed the rag aside, and said,
“Relax… I may get a little revved up, but I always finish the job… even if I need a second ignition.” 😄
