The whole family was rushing around, packing bags for a weekend outing.
The kids were shouting, snacks were spilling, and chaos was everywhere.
The husband zipped up a suitcase and whispered to his wife,
“Remember when packing for trips used to be… a lot more fun?”
She smirked, folding clothes and sliding them into the bag.
“Oh yeah… back when we packed lingerie instead of lunchboxes.”
He leaned closer and said,
“I still think we should sneak in a little ‘alone time’ this weekend.”
She raised an eyebrow and pointed toward the kids fighting over chips.
“Sure… if you can get them to take a nap at the same time.”
He sighed dramatically.
“Wow… from spontaneous adventures to strategic scheduling.”
She zipped the bag shut, gave him a playful wink, and said:
“Welcome to marriage, darling… where the real foreplay is finally getting the kids to sleep.”
