A priest and a nun had spent years working side by side, guiding others toward faith, discipline, and… a very “structured” life.
One evening, after a long day of counseling couples about commitment and future planning, the nun sighed and said,
“Father, don’t you ever think about… a more secure future?”
The priest adjusted his collar. “Sister, my future is in God’s hands.”
She smiled slightly. “Yes, but God also gave us brains… and retirement concerns.”
The priest leaned closer. “Are you suggesting we… invest?”
She nodded. “Exactly. Something long-term. Stable. With… strong returns.”
He whispered, “A joint account?”
She replied, “Let’s just say… a partnership with benefits.”
The priest paused, then said,
“Well… as long as it’s tax-free and nobody confesses about it.”
The nun winked.
“Don’t worry, Father… we’ll keep it strictly… confidential.”
And from that day on, their “future planning meetings” became very… well attended.
