At a private school, there was a middle-aged principal named Mr. Harris who had never married.
The teachers often joked that he treated the school like his entire family.
But there was one thing everyone noticed — whenever the female teachers gathered in the lounge after weekends, Mr. Harris somehow always appeared nearby with a cup of coffee and very curious ears.
Every Monday morning he’d casually ask:
“So… how was everyone’s weekend?”
The younger teachers would giggle because they knew exactly what he was really fishing for.
One Monday, the glamorous new English teacher, Miss Carter, walked in wearing dark sunglasses and smiling suspiciously.
Mr. Harris immediately perked up.
“Ah, Miss Carter… exciting weekend?”
She smirked.
“Oh yes, sir. Very exciting.”
The entire lounge went silent.
Even the math teacher stopped grading papers.
Mr. Harris leaned forward nervously.
“Well… uh… did you do anything… memorable?”
Miss Carter slowly removed her sunglasses and replied:
“Actually yes. I finally met the perfect man.”
The principal nearly dropped his coffee.
“Oh really? And… what’s he like?”
She smiled sweetly and said:
“He’s mature, intelligent, always listens carefully to women… and spends all day around teachers.”
The principal blushed bright red.
The whole staff stared at him.
Then Miss Carter added:
