Two lady waiters, Sara and Nida, worked at the same busy restaurant—and they were fierce rivals when it came to tips.
Sara would smile sweetly and say,
“Enjoy your meal, sir… and don’t forget, kindness is always rewarded.”
Nida would glide in right after and whisper,
“I hope everything is perfect… unlike some service around here.”
One evening, a regular customer came in. Both spotted him at the same time.
Sara rushed over first.
“Good evening! I’ll make sure you have the best experience tonight.”
Nida wasn’t backing down. She walked straight up, pulled out a chair, and said,
“And I’ll make sure you don’t regret sitting here.”
The man looked confused but played along.
Throughout the meal, the competition escalated—extra napkins, free refills, constant check-ins.
Finally, the bill arrived.
They both stood there, smiling, waiting.
The man calmly took out his wallet… paused… and then said:
“Honestly… I’ve never worked this hard just to eat dinner.”
He stood up, left no tip, and added:
“Next time, I’ll bring popcorn… this was better than a movie.” 🍿
