A young nun and a young priest had been working together at the church for months⦠and slowly, very slowly, they started developing feelings for each other.
But of courseārules were rules.
So they kept it professional. Very professional.
One evening, while organizing donations, the tension got a little too obvious.
The priest cleared his throat nervously and said,
āSister⦠do you ever feel like⦠maybe⦠weāre being tested?ā
The nun blushed and whispered,
āFather⦠every single day.ā
They stood there in silence⦠hearts racing.
Finally, the priest sighed and said,
āMaybe we should pray about this.ā
The nun nodded seriously.
āYes⦠we should.ā
So they both knelt down.
A long pause.
Then the nun quietly added,
āFather⦠should we pray for strength⦠or forgiveness?ā
The priest thought for a moment and replied,
āā¦Letās start with strength⦠and keep forgiveness as backup.ā š
