A man and a woman are sleeping together when suddenly there is a loud noise in the house. The woman freezes, her eyes widen, and she quickly rolls over, whispering in panic, ”It’s my husband! You have to leave!”
The man’s heart starts racing. Without thinking, he jumps out of bed, grabs his clothes, and rushes toward the window. He climbs out, falls into the bushes below, crawls through the darkness, and finally reaches the street, breathing heavily and trying to escape before he gets caught.
But as he stands there in the cold night air, something suddenly feels wrong. A strange thought flashes through his mind, and he slowly realises the shocking truth.
He turns around, walks back toward the house, and knocks on the door. When the woman opens it, he looks at her with confusion and says, ”Wait a minute… I’m your husband!”
The woman stares at him for a moment, then crosses her arms and gives him a suspicious, unimpressed look.
She replies, with a slight smirk on her face, ”So why did you run?”
