A quiet little church hired a group of young nuns to help with daily duties—cleaning, organizing, and assisting during services.

Now, the church staff—especially the junior helpers—suddenly became very enthusiastic about volunteering.

“Father, I’ll polish the benches today!”
“No, no, I insist—I’ll help the sisters in the library!”
Another one jumps in, “I can assist with… anything they need!”

The priest raised an eyebrow but said nothing.

A week later, he called a staff meeting.

“I’ve noticed a sudden… surge in dedication,” he said calmly. “So I’ve decided to assign everyone permanent duties.”

The room went silent.

“You,” he pointed at the most eager helper, “will clean the boiler room.”
“And you—graveyard maintenance.”
“And you—ring the bell tower… alone… every morning at 5 AM.”

One brave young man protested, “But Father… what about helping the nuns?”

The priest smiled knowingly and said:

“Oh, don’t worry… they’ve been reassigned too.”

“Where?” they all asked eagerly.

“To a monastery… 200 miles away.”

The room fell dead silent.

The priest folded his hands and added:

“Now let’s see how holy your intentions really were.” 😄
