Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown ( @milliebobbybrown ) moved to a farm in Georgia with over 60 animals, including dogs, horses, cows, sheep, and a blind donkey. She also operates an animal shelter where she cares for an additional 23 dogs.
She has rescued over 230 dogs by using a pet microchip scanner to see if they are first lost and connect them with their owner… if nothing comes up, then she cares for them at her rescue shelter.
Among the dogs are a rottweiler, a golden retriever, a Great Dane, and an 18-year-old blind dachshund called Rigby.” Brown said she found Rigby “left on the side of the road” and decided to take him in because she assumed he was on his last legs.
“I took him thinking, ‘He’s not got long left, he’s blind, can’t find his way through,'” Brown recalled. “Well, this dog is jumping on my couch now. It’s found a new lease [on] life.” The British star also uses her platform to raise awareness for animal adoption.
