Never Underestimate an Old Couple’s Sense of Humor

An old man in his eighties stood up one morning and started putting on his coat, carefully buttoning it as if he had an important appointment.

His wife, still curled up comfortably in her rocking chair with a blanket over her knees, looked over and asked,
“Where are you going?”

He replied confidently, “I’m heading to the doctor.”

Surprised, she raised an eyebrow. “Why? Are you feeling sick?”

With a mischievous grin spreading across his face, he said, “Nope. I’m going to ask about those new Via4ra pills everyone’s talking about.”

Without missing a beat, his wife placed her knitting aside, stood up, and began putting on her sweater.

He paused and looked at her, puzzled. “And where do you think you’re going?”

She met his eyes with a perfectly straight face and said, “To the doctor too.”

“Why?” he asked, genuinely confused.

She smirked and replied, “Because if you’re planning to start using that rusty old thing again after all these years, I’m going to need a tetanus shot first!”
