A man and his wife check into a hotel for a quiet getaway. After a long journey, the husband feels refreshed and decides to enjoy a drink at the hotel bar, but his wife is completely exhausted. She tells him she needs some rest and heads upstairs to their room.
Once inside, she quickly changes, lies down on the comfortable bed, and closes her eyes. But just as she begins to drift off, a deafening rumble shakes the entire room. An elevated train suddenly races past the window, so close and so powerful that the vibrations throw her right out of bed.
Stunned, she sits on the floor in disbelief. She assumes it must have been some strange one-time occurrence. After collecting herself, she climbs back onto the bed, determined to get some sleep.
Moments later, the terrifying noise returns. The walls tremble, the windows rattle, and another train passes by with such force that she is thrown onto the floor again.
Now furious and frightened, she grabs the phone and calls the front desk.
“Could you please send the manager up here?” she demands. “There is something seriously wrong with this room!”
A few minutes later, the hotel manager arrives. He listens politely but clearly seems doubtful. He has heard unusual complaints before, but this one sounds impossible.
“I promise you, I’m not imagining this,” the woman insists. “Please just lie down on the bed for a moment. You’ll see exactly what I mean.”
Still skeptical, the manager agrees. He carefully lies down beside her on the bed, waiting to prove that nothing unusual will happen.
Just then, the husband walks through the door after finishing his drink at the bar.
He freezes when he sees the scene in front of him.
“What on earth are you doing here?!” he demands.
The manager calmly looks up and says:
“Would you believe I’m waiting for a train?”
A young couple were on their honeymoon and were staying at a beautiful hotel with a large swimming pool. They were eager to relax after their wedding celebrations, so they decided to spend the afternoon swimming.
The bride proudly wore a brand-new bikini she had recently bought especially for the trip. She felt confident and excited as she stepped into the pool.
However, within minutes, she realized there was a problem. The bikini was slightly too large, and every time she moved through the water, the top and bottom kept slipping loose and floating away.
Luckily, they were the only two people in the pool, so instead of being embarrassed, they laughed together. They playfully chased the runaway pieces, diving underwater to retrieve them and turning the mishap into a funny honeymoon memory.
That evening, they dressed up for dinner and entered the hotel’s elegant restaurant. As they were being seated, the bride noticed a massive aquarium beside their table.
But something seemed strange.
The aquarium was completely empty.
Curious, she called over the waiter and asked, “Why is there nothing inside this beautiful aquarium? No fish, no plants, nothing at all?”
The waiter looked at her, then smiled mysteriously.
“That’s not an aquarium,” he said.
The couple stared at him in confusion.
“That’s the swimming pool.”
A new bride felt slightly embarrassed about being recognized as a honeymooner everywhere she and her husband went. She worried that hotel staff and strangers would immediately know they were newly married.
When they arrived at their hotel, she leaned toward her husband and whispered:
“Is there any way we can make it look like we’ve been married for years instead of just a few days?”
Her husband thought for a moment, then smiled.
“Of course,” he said.
She looked relieved.
Then he handed her the luggage and said:
“You carry the suitcases.”

Inside were two tickets to a highly popular show they had always wanted to see.
The couple was delighted.
“What a wonderful surprise,” the bride said. “Whoever sent these must be incredibly thoughtful.”
But when they looked inside the envelope again, they found only a small piece of paper.
Written on it was a single mysterious sentence:
“Guess who sent them?”
The couple laughed at first. They spent hours trying to identify the sender. They went through the wedding guest list, discussed possible clues, and debated which friend or relative might have arranged such a thoughtful surprise.
But no matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t solve the mystery.
Eventually, the night of the show arrived. Excited and curious, they got dressed and left for the theatre, still wondering who their secret admirer was.
The performance was wonderful. They laughed, enjoyed themselves, and forgot about everything else for a few hours.
But when they returned home late that night, something felt wrong the moment they opened the door.
The house was silent.
Too silent.
They stepped inside and immediately noticed that something was missing.
Their valuables were gone.
Jewelry, electronics, expensive items, and anything worth taking had disappeared. The house had been completely stripped.
Their excitement turned into shock as they searched the rooms in disbelief.
Then, in the dining room, they noticed a single piece of paper sitting on the empty table.
Slowly, they picked it up.
Their hearts sank when they recognized the handwriting.
It was the same handwriting from the note that came with the theatre tickets.
The message was short:
“Now you know!”
