A man who owned a stubborn donkey was bragging to his friends, “This animal understands everything I say. Smartest creature I’ve ever had.”
One friend smirked and said, “Really? Then make him move.”
The owner puffed up his chest, stood proudly in front of the donkey, and shouted, “MOVE!”
The donkey didn’t budge.
He tried again, louder this time, “I SAID MOVE!”
Still nothing.
Finally, the owner picked up a stick, lightly tapped the donkey on the head, and calmly said, “Now… move.”
The donkey immediately started walking.
His friend burst out laughing. “I thought you said he understands everything you say?”
The owner shrugged and said,
“Oh, he does… but first you have to get his attention—just like my wife.”😂
