A father had been after his son for months:

“Son, you need to get married early. I was your age when I had you!”

The son finally got tired of hearing it and said,
“Dad, times have changed.”

The father slammed his hand on the table,
“No excuses! I want grandchildren soon!”

The son nodded seriously and said,
“Alright, Dad. If you want me to follow your example…”

The father leaned forward, proud.
“Yes, exactly! That’s what I’m talking about!”

The son smiled and replied,
“Great. Then first, you find me a girl, convince her family, pay for the wedding, and support us financially for the first few years… just like your dad did for you.”

The father went quiet.

After a long pause, he sighed and said,
“Son… take your time. Focus on your career.” 😄
