After attending her fourth wedding, an 82-year-old grandmother was surrounded by curious friends at the reception.
One friend finally asked,
“Margaret, what’s your secret? Four husbands! You must know something about keeping a marriage alive.”
Grandma smiled proudly and replied,
“Oh, each husband had a different purpose.”
“What do you mean?” everyone asked.
“My first was a banker who taught me how to save money.”
“My second was a chef who taught me how to enjoy good food.”
“My third was a doctor who kept me healthy.”
The ladies leaned in even closer.
“So… why did you marry the fourth one?”
Grandma grinned, took a sip of champagne, and said,
“Because after three experts… I finally needed someone who knew how to assemble flat-pack furniture without starting an argument!” 😂🤣
