Kenny Law, a beloved star of the Discovery Channel’s Moonshiners, has passed away at the age of 68.
“With heavy hearts, we share that Everett ‘Kenny’ Law peacefully departed this life on January 14, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones,” his family announced in a statement shared on Facebook Wednesday.
The family expressed gratitude for the support they’ve received, saying, “Thank you to everyone for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers.” They added in a heartfelt message, “We love you and are already lost without you! Please continue to watch over us as you always have. SHINE On Brother!”
A third-generation moonshiner, Kenny and his cousin Henry Lee Law co-owned Law’s Choice Distillery in Franklin County, Virginia, where they produced and sold legal moonshine.
Henry shared with TMZ on Thursday that Kenny passed away in a local hospital after battling several health challenges in recent years, including a heart attack in 2024, diabetes, and a blood infection. Despite receiving care, his body ultimately succumbed to these complications.
