Young Actor In Great American Family’s ‘County Rescue,’ Dead At 32


Keller Fornes, star of the Great American Family series Country Rescue, has passed away at the age of 32.

According to his obituary, Fornes died on December 19, 2024, in Eastland, Texas.

A memorial service honoring the actor is scheduled for January 11 at the Cowboy Church of Erath County in Stephenville, Texas.

On January 6, Great American Media released a heartfelt statement regarding Fornes’ passing.

“We at Great American Media are deeply saddened by the loss of Keller Fornes,” the Texas-based network shared on Instagram. “He was a remarkable talent—a gifted actor, writer, director, singer, and musician.”

The statement continued, “His passion and positivity left a lasting impact on everyone he worked with, both at Great American Media and on the set of Country Rescue. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and all who were fortunate to know him.”

The post drew an outpouring of reactions from fans and fellow stars mourning the actor’s sudden passing.

Candace Cameron Bure, who joined the network in an executive role after departing Hallmark Channel in 2022, expressed her grief with a broken heart emoji and a praying hands emoji in the comments.

American Idol alum Colton Dixon also shared his condolences, writing, “We only met briefly during my work on County Rescue, but he was incredibly kind and purposeful with his words. Prayers for his friends and family.”
