To say that Simon Cowell has made a name for himself is an understatement. However, even though he might have millions of dollars in the bank, it doesn’t make him invincible or safe from injury. Some years ago, Cowell crashed his electircaöl bike, which put him in the hospital. In a new interview, he now reveals that it was so bad that he feared he’d never walk again.
Simon Cowell has created a fabulous life for himself. From first working at and later launching his own record labels, the now 65-year-old conquered the music business straight to the top. He is also the creator of America’s Got Talent and has served as a judge on the show for over 20 years.
However, life can come at you quickly, something Simon Cowell has experienced as he went through something in 2020 that could have changed his life forever. He was involved in a serious accident as he fell off his electric bike in the courtyard of his home in Malibu, California, and was taken to the hospital. He had to undergo surgery to repair a broken back.
Cowell was “doing” fine following the six-hour surgery, which included the placement of a metal rod. Things really could’ve turned out way worse than they did. It forced him to miss the beginning of the season’s live show America’s Got Talent.
