DUBLIN: Irish actress, writer, and film producer Slaine Kelly has died at the age of 43, prompting an outpouring of tributes from colleagues, friends, and fans across Ireland’s entertainment industry. She passed away peacefully at her home in Dublin, surrounded by her family.

Kelly was widely recognized for portraying Jane Howard in the acclaimed historical television series The Tudors, where she appeared alongside Jonathan Rhys Meyers. She also featured in productions including Raw, Comedown, Sket, and Rise of the Footsoldier Part II, while earning praise for her work as a producer and co-writer of the independent Irish comedy film The O’Briens.
