‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ Actress Kimmarie Johnson Dies at 50

Actress and model Kimmarie Johnson, whose screen appearances included Beverly Hills, 90210 and Dude, Where’s My Car?, has died at the age of 50.

Her niece, Rhonda Scott, confirmed to ABC News that Johnson died on November 4, following a medical emergency at her Los Angeles home on October 27. She was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where, according to Scott, doctors diagnosed what the family described as a “heart aneurysm condition.” Her official cause of death has not been confirmed.

Family Remembers Her Warmth

In a statement announcing the loss, Scott remembered her aunt for the happiness and encouragement she brought to others.

“She radiated a light so strong and bright,” Scott told ABC News. The family said Johnson’s positive presence would be deeply missed and that they would continue honoring her memory.

A Career Across Television and Film

Johnson played Judy in a 1998 episode of Beverly Hills, 90210. She later appeared in the 2000 comedy Dude, Where’s My Car?, starring Ashton Kutcher and Seann William Scott.

Her television credits also included V.I.P. and Wanda at Large, while her film work extended to productions including Shadow Fury and Break a Leg. Her career encompassed acting, modeling and producing.

Raised in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, Johnson pursued opportunities in beauty pageants before building her entertainment career in Los Angeles. She represented Pennsylvania at the 1993 Miss USA competition, where she reached the top five.

As a model, she worked on campaigns for brands including Vidal Sassoon, United Colors of Benetton and Lady Footlocker. She also developed a business career, launching the skincare brand SkinGlow by Kimmarie in 2011.
