Alexander\u2019s rise to fame began in 1966 when she joined NBC\u2019s\u00a0Days of\u2026<\/p>\n
Alexander passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 85, though the news wasn\u2019t made public until two months later, on May 9. The announcement came from\u00a0General Hospital<\/em>\u00a0executive producer Frank Valentini, who shared a heartfelt tribute on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201dI am so very sorry to hear of Denise Alexander\u2019s passing,\u201d Valentini wrote. \u201dShe broke barriers on-screen and off, portraying Dr. Lesley Webber \u2013 one of the first female doctors on Daytime Television \u2013 for nearly five decades.
