Hi, I\u2019d like to know your thoughts on whether I was wrong.
I\u2019m my parents\u2019 only child. My mother passed away giving birth to me, so my father was the only parent I ever knew. But now, I must accept the fact that he left me, too\u2014just five days ago. The news came from my stepmother, Lisa, and since that moment, I\u2019ve been crying myself to sleep every night.<\/p>\n

After years of being alone, my dad found love again. He met Lisa, who was already expecting a baby. They\u2019ve been together for four years now. Dad welcomed her and her son with open arms, and though I tried to be happy for him, I couldn\u2019t help feeling a quiet discomfort. Still, I stayed silent because his smile meant more to me than my unease.
