<\/p>\nAdult film star Jesse Jane\u2019s cause of death has been determined.<\/p>\n
Jane died earlier this year due to an accidental drug overdose. She overdosed on fentanyl and cocaine, according to the autopsy report obtained by PEOPLE on Tuesday.

In January, police confirmed to PEOPLE that the actress \u2014 whose real name is Cindy Taylor \u2014 was found dead with her boyfriend Brett Hasenmueller at their home in Moore, Oklahoma.<\/p>\n
Local outlet KFOR reported that police were called to their residence to conduct a welfare check after no one had heard from them for days.
\nJane first entered the modeling world working for retailers like David\u2019s Bridal and booking a commercial for Hooters.<\/p>\n
In 2003, the Texas native was in her first adult film, but also went on to take roles in other projects. She had uncredited appearances in 2003\u2019s Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding and 2004\u2019s Starsky and Hutch, per Deadline.<\/p>\n
As she continued to branch out, she appeared in season 2 of Entourage in 2005 and later dipped her toes into reality tv on Bad Girls Club and Gene Simmons Family Jewels.<\/p>\n
In 2007, Jane decided to retire from making adult films, later telling GQ that the industry had changed from when she first entered it.<\/p>\n
\u201cI got into porn right at the perfect time, when porn stars mattered,\u201d she said in the 2018 interview. \u201cPorn stars back then, they were big, glamorous. You walked into a room, you turned heads. Everybody knew who you were because they actually had to buy your product or DVDs, everything. Porn was so naughty, but everybody watched it. Now, no one makes money like they did back then even with toy deals and appearances.\u201d
\nBrian Gross, a publicist for the porn industry, remembered Jane as \u201ca vivacious person who had an absolute and ultimate love for life\u201d in a statement to PEOPLE.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is not one person in the adult industry who didn\u2019t spend time with her, whether onset or in a social setting, that she didn\u2019t make smile or laugh or both. She would light up a room as soon as she walked in. Her laugh would echo wherever she was,\u201d his statement continued.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe was a performer during an era where adult films were seen all over the world, and the promotions were massive,\u201d Gross said. \u201cShe made sure that she gave her all, not only in performing but in promotion as well.
