The great Albanian actress, Margarita Xhepa, died on Thursday at the age of 91.<\/p>\n
Xhepa was born on April 2, 1934 in Lushnje.<\/p>\n
During her career, she has performed over 150 roles in theater and 32 roles in cinema.<\/p>\n
\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n
The Albanian cinematographic icon is considered one of the \u201cGreat Ladies\u201d of Albanian theater and film, who started in the 60s.<\/p>\n
Some of the characters she played during her career are Zyraka in \u201cThe Early Years\u201d (1965), Shano in \u201cThe Last Winter\u201d (1976), the pianist in \u201cConcert in 1936\u201d (1978) and Lena in \u201cBloody Land\u201d (1976).<\/p>\n
Margarita Xhepa has also performed in world dramaturgy roles such as Ophelia in \u201cHamlet\u201d, the second daughter in \u201cKing Lear\u201d, the nanny in \u201cRomeo and Juliet\u201d, Queen Margaret in \u201cRichard III\u201d, Lady Milford in the drama \u201cIntrigue and Love\u201d (F. Schiller), Mela in the drama \u201cMoral of Mrs. Dulska\u201d (G. Zapolska), Dafina in the dramatization of the novel \u201cDead River\u201d (J. Xoxa) and the mother in the staging of Kadare\u2019s novel, \u201cWho Brought Doruntina\u201d, and many others, writes TCH.<\/p>\n
