Lunita lay motionless on the freezing pavement, her frail legs strapped to a broken wheelchair. She had been abandoned outside a grooming shop, tied up with nothing but a note explaining that her owner could no longer care for her.<\/p>\n

Paralyzed from a spinal injury, she had no way to move, no way to find food or warmth\u2014just the hope that someone would notice her suffering before it was too late.<\/p>\n

That hope became reality when a compassionate store employee saw her and quickly contacted the local rescue group, LUBA Salta.<\/p>\n

They arrived without hesitation, scooping Lunita up and rushing her to safety. It was the beginning of a long road to recovery.<\/p>\n

With proper medical attention, nutritious meals, and constant love, Lunita began to heal. The infections cleared, her strength returned, and for the first time in a long while, she felt safe.<\/p>\n

Still, she needed a forever home\u2014one that understood her needs and could give her the care she deserved. That home finally came when an American family welcomed her with open arms.<\/p>\n

They provided her with a brand-new wheelchair, one that fit her properly and allowed her to move freely. With their love and support, Lunita\u2019s world transformed.<\/p>\n
