{"id":5757,"date":"2025-01-09T04:54:33","date_gmt":"2025-01-08T23:54:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/us\/?p=5757"},"modified":"2025-01-09T05:16:53","modified_gmt":"2025-01-09T00:16:53","slug":"woman-pregnant-with-triplets-shares-struggles-of-huge-bump-that-grew-straight-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pni.net.pk\/us\/woman-pregnant-with-triplets-shares-struggles-of-huge-bump-that-grew-straight-out\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman pregnant with triplets shares struggles of huge bump that grew \u2018straight out\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<div class=\"entry-meta\">A woman who was pregnant with triplets has got a load of attention online after sharing the progress of her shockingly large baby bump.<\/div>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-1\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"\">Michella Meier-Morsi, from Copenhagen, Denmark, documented her journey on Instagram by sharing images of her bump, which began growing \u2018straight out\u2019 rather than \u2018up and down\u2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The baby bump also turned purple and was covered in bruises in the weeks before the birth of her three babies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Michella welcomed her triplets Charles, Theodore and Gabriel on January 15 via cesarean section. She was just over 35 weeks pregnant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Michella is also mum to two daughters with her husband, Mark.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Three days before she gave birth, Michella shared her fears with her followers, saying that she did not \u2018feel ready\u2019 for the triplets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018I seriously do not feel ready for three babies,\u2019 she wrote.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018I naively thought that I would get ready at some point \u2013 that I would feel a joy that the pregnancy is coming to an end and that we should finally meet our trio.\u2063<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018But if it were not for the extreme pain, the triplets would have to stay in the stomach for a month or three more. It all just feels so overwhelming.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Michella said she wanted to \u2018curl up in a corner and sob over how unimaginable it all seemed.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The night before the birth, Michella said she was \u2018insanely scared.\u2019<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image wp-image-15991755\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/PRI_220163409.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=646\" alt=\"Michella pictured with her large baby bump\" width=\"646\" height=\"808\" \/><\/div><figcaption>The bump started to bruise prior to the birth (Picture: Instagram\/@filippaophelia)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018It feels so unreal to have three babies [coming] and it\u2019s like my head can not handle it,\u2019 she admitted. \u2018I simply can not imagine it or them.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018Instead, it rolls around with ugly thoughts.\u2063 Can I do it? Can they do it?<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018But luckily I know that the only thing that matters to me tomorrow is whether the boys are doing well.\u2063<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018And on that front, I can throw my arms up \u2013 because we did it! We have been holding on to them for over 35 weeks. And then we can not really do more than hope for the best.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The mum welcomed her three sons and said the birth experience was one of the \u2018wildest 36 hours\u2019 of her life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018I\u2019m in grotesque pain,\u2019 she wrote in the aftermath. \u2018And right now I can not see myself out of that nightmare.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018Fortunately, it helps when lying with three adorable boys on your chest. Yep, I\u2019ve already had the pleasure of having them all up at once \u2013 and it was completely magical.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Despite the trauma, Michella said it was \u2018worth it\u2019 and that her heart was \u2018bursting with happiness and love.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018There is emptiness in my stomach, but my heart and my arms have never been so full of love and happiness,\u2019 she gushed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018The boys are absolutely amazing! \u2063That\u2019s how easy it can be summed up. They are mild and mega cool and we are completely in love. It\u2019s hardly any surprise that we are in the most wonderful baby bubble.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">In the days following, Michella shared on Instagram that while her stomach was significantly smaller, she was struggling with her postpartum body.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018It is heavy and incredibly painful,\u2019 she noted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018The caesarean section is not bothersome \u2013 unless I have to cough, sneeze or (God forbid) vomit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018But my intestines roll around in the big cavity, which is both uncomfortable and hurts.\u2063<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018My uterus lies right next to the skin and is super sensitive \u2013 the slightest touches hurt the curse.\u2063<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"article-image wp-image-15991766\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/PRI_220163383.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=646\" alt=\"Michella holding her triplets in the hospital bed\" width=\"646\" height=\"808\" \/><\/div><figcaption>Michella was overjoyed after the birth (Picture: Instagram\/@filippaophelia)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018And the last few days, the stomach has felt like a big black mark It even hurts to breathe.\u2063\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Meanwhile, doctors discovered blood had built up in her uterus which her body \u2018couldn\u2019t get rid of.\u2019 This increased the risk of inflammation so she was advised to undergo a scraping procedure which is type of surgery where doctors remove abnormal tissue from the body.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Following the birth, Michella was faced with the challenges of raising five small children.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018Oh how I have cried and felt divided, tired, overwhelmed and giving up the last few days,\u2019 she shared.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018It is indescribably hard to have two three-year-olds and three premature babies.\u2063 Much harder than I had imagined.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018[My daughters] are angry, defiant, enormously bored, and simply unruly and rude.\u2063<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u2018They miss us and definitely feel let down to some degree.
