The devil\u2019s in the detail, as the old saying goes. By listening to those who are older and wiser than us, we can often learn and grow, gaining experience we otherwise wouldn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

That said, you could surmise that it\u2019s nurses who get to see more miracles than anyone else. As was the case with nurse Brandalyn Mae Porter, when she saw the detail on one old woman\u2019s hands \u2026<\/p>\n

When Brandalyn Mae Porter shared an image on social media, all people saw were the hands of an old woman. That was until they read Brandalyn\u2019s words, and then they saw the hands in a completely different light.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday I painted a new residents nails at work and as we were going over colors, she mentioned she wanted clear. The only thought that came to my mind was \u2018CLEAR?! That\u2019s no fun.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI asked her why she wanted clear and she said, \u2018My hands are ugly, I don\u2019t want to draw attention to them.\u2019 I then carefully responded with, \u2018Your hands tell the story of your life. They tell the story of love, of care and adventure. These hands have touched and held things that most people can only\u00a0wish to one day.\u2019 And with that, she went with the color pink for her nails.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
