People in the area are still shocked after a dog was found with multiple shooting wounds. Jackson, Hayden Howard\u2019s English Mastiff, was playing in the garden when all of a sudden he looked like he was covered in bug bites. But when Hayden looked more closely, he saw the horrible truth: Jackson had been shot more than once.<\/p>\n

Hayden was heartbroken when he found out, so he rushed Jackson to the vet right away. A lot of small bullets from a BB gun were found by the doctor. Some were stuck under Jackson\u2019s eyelid and in his ear. The vet had to shave Jackson\u2019s hair to get rid of the many plastic shells. In total, 27 bullets were taken out. Twenty more shots had to be put into Jackson\u2019s body, which was sad.<\/p>\n

A lot of people are angry about what happened, and many are criticising the cruel act. Senior Police Officer Craig Hayes of the Seymour Police Department called it \u201ca very bad case\u201d and \u201csad to see.\u201d The cops started an investigation and found that the gunfire came from a garden next door.<\/p>\n

A neighbor\u2019s house was searched and found to have a rifle, bullets, a BB gun, and pellets. There was also methamphetamine and drug equipment found. Many people have spoken out against the person\u2019s deeds and called for harsh punishments.<\/p>\n

Jackson is said to be healing well, even though he went through a lot of stress. The dog\u2019s owner, Hayden, is glad that he is getting better. The event is a stark warning of how important it is to be kind and respectful to animals. It also shows how important it is to have stricter rules and harsher punishments for people who hurt animals.<\/p>\n
