And he couldn\u2019t wait to become a dad.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I held her in my arms, I was filled with joy,\u201d he told the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/family\/single-dad-adopts-girl-with-down-syndrome-rejected-by-20-families\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BBC<\/a>. \u201cI felt she was my daughter immediately.
