For forty years, old Walter had told his friends about his lifelong dream of owning a bull farm.<\/p>\n
\u201cTwenty magnificent bulls,\u201d he\u2019d announce at every Friday gathering. \u201cFarmers would queue up to hire them. Those handsome fellows would spend their days entertaining lady cows\u2014and I\u2019d collect the money!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019ve certainly thought about their working conditions,\u201d his friend Frank remarked.<\/p>\n
\u201cOf course,\u201d Walter said. \u201cShort shifts, plenty of rest, and no bull expected to perform immediately after lunch.\u201d<\/p>\n
Years passed. Walter retired, his hair disappeared, and his dream remained exactly where he\u2019d left it: somewhere between his third beer and his fourth.<\/p>\n
Finally, his friends decided to help.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve found you some affordable land,\u201d Frank announced. \u201cThere\u2019s a barn, good fencing, and room for your bulls!\u201d<\/p>\n
Walter went pale.<\/p>\n
\u201cWell\u2026 there\u2019s the paperwork.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll help.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd the money.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll invest.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd my wife would never agree.\u201d<\/p>\n
At that moment, his wife walked over.<\/p>\n
\u201cAgree? I\u2019ve been begging him to do it for twenty years!\u201d<\/p>\n
His friends stared at him.<\/p>\n
