The man pulled over to the side of the road when he saw the police lights flashing in his rearview mirror. His heart sank as the officer approached the car. \u201cHow long have you been riding around without a tail light?\u201d asked the officer.<\/p>\n
\u201cOh, no!\u201d screamed the man, suddenly jumping out of the car.<\/p>\n
\u201cCalm down, it isn\u2019t that serious,\u201d said the officer, surprised by the man’s reaction.<\/p>\n
\u201cWait\u2019ll my family finds out!\u201d<\/p>\n
The officer frowned and looked around. \u201cWhere\u2019s your family?\u201d<\/p>\n
The man pointed nervously behind him.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re in the trailer that was hitched to the car!\u201d<\/p>\n
A man pulls up to the curb and asks the policeman, \u201cCan I park here?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNo,\u201d says the cop. \u201cYou can\u2019t park here.\u201d<\/p>\n
The man looks around at the row of cars already parked along the curb and points toward them. \u201cWhat about all these other cars?\u201d<\/p>\n
The policeman shrugs. \u201cThey didn\u2019t ask!\u201d<\/p>\n
Two police officers stopped a guy for speeding on the provincial highway in Mississauga, Ontario.<\/p>\n
As they were writing up the ticket, one officer suddenly paused, looked at the form, and turned to the other. \u201cHow do you spell Mississauga?\u201d<\/p>\n
The other officer stared at the word for a moment before shaking his head. \u201cI don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n
The first officer frowned. \u201cWell, what are we going to do? If we spell it wrong, the ticket could get dismissed.\u201d<\/p>\n
They both stood there thinking, while the speeding driver watched nervously and wondered whether he might actually get away with it.<\/p>\n
Finally, the second officer had an idea.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhy don\u2019t we just let him go and stop him again when he gets to Toronto?\u201d<\/p>\n

Two drunks are walking along. One drunk suddenly stops, looks up at the sky, and says to the other, \u201cWhat a beautiful night. Look at the moon.\u201d<\/p>\n
The other drunk stops and stares upward for several seconds before shaking his head.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re wrong. That\u2019s not the moon. That\u2019s the sun.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNo, it\u2019s the moon!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s the sun!\u201d<\/p>\n
They began to argue, each becoming more certain that he was right and the other was completely wrong. Their argument grew louder and louder until, finally, they came upon another drunk walking down the road.<\/p>\n
Seeing their chance to settle the matter once and for all, they stopped him.<\/p>\n
\u201cSir, could you please help settle our argument?\u201d one asked. \u201cTell us what that thing is up in the sky that\u2019s shining. Is it the moon or the sun?\u201d<\/p>\n
The third drunk slowly looked up at the sky. He stared for a long moment, as though the answer required serious investigation.<\/p>\n
Then he looked back at the two men.<\/p>\n
