Every morning, a taxi driver parked outside the senior citizens’ community center instead of the airport.<\/p>\n
His friend asked, “Why don’t you wait where the tourists are? That’s where the big money is!”<\/p>\n
The driver grinned. “Tourists only ask for one destination. The grandmas? They give me a whole day’s adventure!”<\/p>\n
Sure enough, an elderly lady climbed into the taxi.<\/p>\n
“First, the pharmacy… then the bakery… then the bank… then my sister’s house… and if we have time, let’s slowly drive past my old school.”<\/p>\n
Hours later, she finally reached home.<\/p>\n
The driver smiled and said, “That’ll be $28.”<\/p>\n
The old lady handed him $100.<\/p>\n
“Oh my! You gave me too much!”<\/p>\n
She winked and said, “No dear… the extra is for listening to all my stories.”<\/p>\n
As she walked away, another taxi driver shouted, “How do you keep finding these wonderful customers?”<\/p>\n
