A Mexican father came home from work, sniffed the air, and shouted,<\/p>\n
“Who made tacos? They smell incredible!”<\/p>\n
His wife smiled proudly.
\n“I did. Fresh tortillas, homemade salsa, grilled steak… the works.”<\/p>\n
The father piled his plate high and took a huge bite.<\/p>\n
“These are amazing!” he said. “What’s the special occasion?”<\/p>\n
His teenage daughter grinned.
\n“Mom found the money you hid in the flour jar.”<\/p>\n
The father froze.<\/p>\n
“What money?”<\/p>\n
His wife calmly replied,
\n“The ’emergency savings’ you’ve been secretly adding to for three years.”<\/p>\n
He nervously laughed. She smiled sweetly.<\/p>\n “Don’t worry.
