Mom secretly turned it up to 72.<\/p>\n
Their teenage daughter complained there was “literally nothing to eat” while holding a plate with three slices of lasagna.<\/p>\n
The youngest son declared he was “starving to death” but refused to eat anything green.<\/p>\n
Grandpa quietly kept eating, pretending none of it was happening.<\/p>\n
Finally, Dad slapped the table.<\/p>\n
“That’s it! From now on, this family needs rules.”<\/p>\n
Everyone fell silent.<\/p>\n
He pointed at the kids.<\/p>\n
“No complaining.”<\/p>\n
Then at Mom.<\/p>\n
“No changing the thermostat.”<\/p>\n
Then at Grandpa.<\/p>\n
“And no pretending you don’t hear us.”<\/p>\n
Grandma calmly stood up, picked up the dessert, and started walking toward the kitchen.<\/p>\n
The entire family instantly froze.<\/p>\n
Dad asked nervously,
