A group of old men and women were sitting in their club late one evening.<\/p>\n
One gentleman stood up and said, \u201cLet\u2019s see who can make the group laugh the hardest!\u201d<\/p>\n
An elderly woman smiled and said, \u201cI\u2019ll start. My husband and I have been married for 60 years. Last week he looked at me and said, \u2018You still take my breath away.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
The group went, \u201cAwwww!\u201d<\/p>\n
She added, \u201cMostly because he forgot where he left his oxygen tank.\u201d<\/p>\n
Everyone laughed.<\/p>\n
Then an old man stood up and said, \u201cThat\u2019s nothing. Yesterday my wife asked if I remembered our anniversary.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat did you say?\u201d someone asked.<\/p>\n
\u201cI told her, \u2018Of course I do. I remember forgetting it every single year!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
The room erupted with laughter.<\/p>\n
Finally, the oldest man in the club slowly got to his feet.<\/p>\n
\u201cFolks,\u201d he said, \u201cI think I\u2019ve won.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhy?\u201d they asked.<\/p>\n
He grinned and replied:<\/p>\n
\u201cBecause I came here tonight to make everyone laugh\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2026and after hearing all your jokes, I can\u2019t remember mine!\u201d<\/p>\n
The room was silent for a second.<\/p>\n
Then someone shouted, \u201cHe wins!\u201d<\/p>\n
And the old man smiled and said,<\/p>\n
\u201cGreat!
